Kia Ora e te whānau!

I’m a freelance writer and illustrator based in Morningside, Tāmaki Makaurau.

All types of illustration are my jam, but illustrating for picture books and graphic novels comes in at 1st place. In early 2025 I finished my Masters of Creative Practice at Unitec, where I wrote and illustrated a HUGE graphic novel and a less huge picture book. When I was 9 I wrote and illustrated an eco-activist comic called ‘Sam the Super Worm’ and luckily, not much has changed.

I fill the rest of my time with mahi at Objectspace gallery in Grey Lynn where I wear many hats - Design and Comms Assistant, Gallery assistant, Junior Technician, and Archivist.
